Peter Ruxton was a Partner with Actis LLP responsible for all investment in the mining sector in Emerging Markets for the Fund. Prior to that he was Exploration Manager for mid-tier gold producer Ross Mining and involved in the evaluation and feasibility study of the Gold Ridge Gold Mine in the Solomon Islands. Peter also had 11 years experience with Billiton Australia as Regional Exploration Manager and Geologist. His Ph.D. studies were on sedimentary copper deposits in Namibia; he spent a further 18 months as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Tasmania, Australia researching VMS base metal and copper deposits. He has a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences, a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds and an MBA from Manchester Business School. Peter is also a Non-Executive Director of Platmin Ltd.

Robert Close is a geologist with over 40 years of experience focusing on Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) base metal and copper-gold exploration. Prior to joining Gentor, he was Chief Geologist for Gullewa Limted and Exploration Manager for Queensland Minerals Ltd. Between 2000 and 2007 he gained extensive regional experience while working on VMS copper deposits in Oman for the National Mining Company as General Manager and on copper-gold exploration projects in Cyprus and Turkey with EMED Mining Ltd. as Exploration Manager. He has an MSc. Geology degree from the Australian National University, Canberra.

Eugene Iliescu was until recently Managing Director of Australia-listed Auzex Resources and previous to this Managing Director of Nauru Government mining company Ronphos Mining. Prior to this Eugene worked for three years in Oman with the then National Mining Company (now Mawarid Mining) dealing with government approvals, health & safety and environmental management at the company's copper operations west of Sohar. Eugene has 30 years of experience in the resources industry working in mining (Ross Mining, Metana Minerals, Hecla Mining, Ronphos & Auzex), oil & Gas (Duke Energy) and renewable energy (Geodynamics & Panax). He has degrees in Engineering Surveying, Applied Geography and diplomas in Occupational Health & Safety and Social Science. Eugene is a Non-Executive Director of Auzex Resources Ltd. and Kenex Knowledge Systems Ltd.

Partha was the Advisor to the Board (Finance & Administration) for the Al Fairuz Group of Companies in Oman prior to joining Gentor and in this role greatly assisted the establishment of Gentor in Oman. Prior to this he was the Group Finance Controller for Al Manawir Trading LLC (a trading, civil construction and manufacturing group in Oman and UAE) and the Finance Manager for Oman Industrial Gas Co. LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Business Administration degree and is a C.A. Intermediate with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Andrew McCarthy is a geologist and GIS analyst with 7 years of mineral exploration experience, having worked mainly in New Zealand and Australia. Prior to joining Gentor, he worked as a project geologist/GIS analyst with Auzex Resources, Accord Mining and Kenex Knowledge Systems. Andrew has a B.Sc. in Geology & GIS and an M.Sc. (1st class) in Geology from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.
